Safety Department Objective: The goal of the JOMAX safety department is to support the JOMAX mission and vision and work with operations to provide a safe workplace for all employees and partners. Through training, mentorship, and accountable leadership, JOMAX will continue to strive to be the industry leader in the oilfield construction segment. Role Description: The Senior Safety Coordinator is an integral part of field safety leadership in the Safety Department held by individuals who show a knowledge of operational and safety practices and principles.  This position is expected to lead, mentor, and influence field operations to perform work safely and efficiently, without incident. The Senior Safety Coordinator is expected to work closely with project foremen and superintendents to provide training and oversight. At times the Senior Safety Coordinator will be expected to lead a group of project safety coordinators, helping to strategize and deploy based upon needs, help develop junior team members, and potentially hire additional resources.
